SEX HAS NO BORDERS
London, today. A refugee washes up naked in a suitcase on the bank of the Thames. The enigmatic, sexually fluid stranger introduces himself to an upper class family. He is invited to stay on as an employee. The Visitor soon seduces each member of the family in a series of explicit sexual encounters. He will turn their world upside down as they are able to redefine themselves in new, radical ways.
Arguably Canadian cinema’s most anarchic agent provocateur, Hustler White and Saint-Narcisse director Bruce LaBruce has been blasting his punk art porn visions onto cinema and more private screens since the ‘80s. The Visitor is a sacrilegious exhumation of the still-warm corpse of fellow queer button-pushing pioneer Pier Paolo Pasolini’s Teorema (1968), which means its funny, sexy, transgressive, blunt, and sexy again. With a throbbing EDM electro score.

"While there’s been no shortage of arch 'eat the rich' satires in recent years, none have hit their target with the kind of renegade perversity that LaBruce has spent his career gleefully discharging, something that arguably reaches its apex in this sicko family affair." - Mark Hanson, Slant Magazine
"Hilarious, sexy, disgusting, scary, disturbing, and beautiful. Just a lovely minefield that everyone is dancing through." - Vera Drew, The People's Joker
